Making it optional is a bit of extra complexity, but not necessarily bad.Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12979095957410011528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741109129297712977.post-73756087690016949832011-11-29T15:20:02.412-03:002011-11-29T15:20:02.412-03:00This comment has been removed by the author.Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12979095957410011528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741109129297712977.post-36795213972743685942011-11-29T02:55:14.588-03:002011-11-29T02:55:14.588-03:00I would say leave facebook as option, but definite...I would say leave facebook as option, but definitely don't have it as a requirement. While I would quite enjoy sharing good games on Facebook , there are lots of go players out there without facebook.

Also if you wish to top into the Chinese market (even if it is just to get a pro teaching, or for people who to study go in China programs), Facebook is banned. So it'll be very hard for them to connect.Syptrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17658682886649050493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741109129297712977.post-68163421707989933692011-11-27T20:45:18.467-03:002011-11-27T20:45:18.467-03:00I don't think it should be exclusively Faceboo...I don't think it should be exclusively Facebook login. It would be nice if it were an option, but normally if something requires me to integrate with Facebook in order to use it I often turn away automatically and without further thought. Also, a very significant number of Go players I know don't have Facebook and don't plan to get it.

That said, I'm sure it won't offend anyone if you allow them to log in with Facebook or alternatively make a new account.Maukebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02837305539489397829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741109129297712977.post-52852151854981640052011-11-26T23:45:14.947-03:002011-11-26T23:45:14.947-03:00I don't think FB integration could be a good i...I don't think FB integration could be a good idea... AFAIS kaya.gs would be understood as another social network... Mayba, if most, you could make FB Integration as optional, and not covering login. Just, for example, sharing kifu or something else, if most.hogwartslinuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08759107617441637350noreply@blogger.com
